Sasthan manufactures 2 types of strainers which help in removing foreign particles in the flowing liquids and gases,due to which the life of your pumps, valves and other flow control equipments increases.Sasthan strainers are so specially designed that the pressure drops are well kept within reasonable and to have effective straining reasonable straining area is offered. Sasthan can also design and manufacture custom made strainers to meet special requirements. Sasthan strainers are available in sizes from ½” to 24” in various models.

BASKET STRAINERS
Sasthan strainer is used to strain foreign matter from pipelines and provide inexpensive protection from costly pumps, meters, valves and similar mechanical equipments. Sasthan Basket strainer is furnished in heavily gauge perforated stainless steel reinforced basket and fitted with handles for easy removal. Sasthan Basket strainers are widely used in process industries such as Palm oil and refinery, Food industries, Petrochemical and water and waste water treatment sectors.

DUPLEX STRAINERS
Sasthan Duplex strainers are innovative and economical alternative to conventional duplex basket strainers. Sasthan Duplex strainers are designed for application where flow cannot be shut down.
Sasthan Duplex strainer or twin basket strainer is a type of filter built into a fuel, oil or water piping system and it is used to remove large particles of dirt and debris. The duplex strainer system usually consists of two separate strainer baskets housings. The system also contains a valve handle placed between the two baskets to divert the flow of liquid to one strainer while the other is being cleaned. On some strainers, the valve will work automatically and the strainer will perform a self-cleaning operation. These types of strainers are installed in pipeline systems where flow cannot be stopped.

T STRAINERS
Sasthan “T” strainers are recommended where there are limitations of space to accommodate basket type strainers. “T” type strainers with butweld ends can be directly welded to piping.

CONICAL STRAINERS
Sasthan conica strainers are also called as temporary strainers. Sasthan conical filters are used in the pipeline for filtration of the system. These are suitable for liquid, steam and compressed air. They can be mounted between the changes.
